Fight Direction credits include Macbeth (New Perspectives Theatre, Castle Shakespeare Repertory, Harlem School of the Arts), Romeo and Juliet (CSR), Richard III w/Austin Pendleton, Othello, Julius Caesar (NPT), Hamlet (Gemini Theatrical Productions, CSR, School of Practical Philosophy), The Red Rose (The Mint Theatre), Merlin Redux (New York Dramatists Guild), Ceremony of Innocence (Neighborhood Playhouse), Brave Brood (Present Company Theatre), Henry V (La MaMa), Mourning and The Three Sisters (Columbia University), The Winter’s Tale (Safe Haven Productions), Gloria ( World Premiere with The Lady Cavaliers),The Tales of Robin Hood (New York Renaissance Faire), the OOBR award winning production of Jihad and the World Premiere of Exhibit # 9 (NPT).

Fight performance at New York City Opera in Lincoln Center include The Capulets and the Montegues, Macbeth, Carmen and the New York Premier of Dead Man Walking. New York City and Regional credits include Macbeth (Macduff, Lenox), Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio, Tybalt, Lord Capulet, Paris), Othello (Cassio), Richard II (Murderer), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lysander, Demetrius), Julius Caesar (Marc Antony), Cymbeline (Guiderius), Ceremony of Innocence (Prince Edmund the Bastard) and The Tales of Robin Hood (Robin Hood).

David currently is a Stage Combat instructor on staff at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. Along with his wife, Alexandra, David has formed En Garde Entertainment LLC which provides classes in Stage Combat as well as Fight Direction for shows and “Duelists for Hire”.
