Dance Instructor – Lauren E. Harrison
Lauren E. Harrison holds a BFA in Dance from Arizona State University with an emphasis in Dance Education and Research. Harrison trained for over fifteen years under some of the most prestigious Dance Educators in the nation including: Dr. Cynthia Roses-Thema, Karen Schupp, Mary Fitzgerald, Kee-Juan Han, Michelle Taylor, Ann Olsen, Nian Cadman, Michael Foley and Nancy Stark Smith. Harrison danced as a soloist with Dulce Dance Company and is a Founding member of 32 Flavors Dance, where she acted as director, choreographer and soloist. Harrison has also attended many dance workshops and intensive training programs including Bates Dance Festival, The National Dance Education Organization Conference and Dance Movement Therapy training sessions at the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center. Harrison has been teaching for more than twelve years in both public and private sectors, and is most passionate about playing a significant role in the growth and development of young human beings. Lauren joined the Riverdale Dance! Team in January 2010 and brought Modern Dance with her. Lauren is also excited to be a part of the RPAC team this Fall!
