As the Riverdale Rising Stars teens get ready to do their last 4 performances of Urinetown, for our seniors, this will be their last show as part of the RRS program.
We asked them how they felt about being in the program. Today we have Jenna, and Gedalia. Come back tomorrow to hear from our other seniors.
What are your thoughts and feelings approaching your last shows as Rising Stars?
Jenna:
To be honest I feel very conflicted. On one hand I am extremely sad. This little piece of heaven has been my home since the 5th grade and I love it, and the people, so dearly. On the other hand, I am going to school to study theatre so this is not the end of theatre for me, but rather the beginning. My real theatre life is about to start and I couldn’t be more excited, but I will always remember that I wouldn’t be where or who I am without the Riverdale Rising Stars.
Gedalia:
I love it and I wish I had started sooner. I will miss the great group of kids I spent all the time with.
