So Ben, we haven’t seen much of you lately, where’ve you been?

In New Haven, CT at the Long Wharf Theatre doing a production of Sam Shepard’s Curse of the Starving Class.

Congratulations!!  Can you give us details about the show in case any of your fans want to come see it?

Fans? I don’t think I have reached too many, but here are some details: The play runs until March 10th (short run). 8 Shows a week (dark on Monday with Wed and Sat Matinee). Great play, great story, strong cast, including two-time Tony-Winner Judith Ivey, who was just in The Heiress on Broadway.

The play is really dark, but the audience laughs their way through it. Yours truly has the great fun of playing two different roles – both small, but both lot’s of fun. So don’t come expecting to see my mug too much, come for a great night, or day of theater!

Do you primarily act onstage or other places?  Commercials, film, etc.

Acting all the time – even at our little theater in the Bronx! This year has been primarily theater, with the exception of a short film I did this summer.

What is your dream role?

Play the parent of an RRS or Jr RRS  actor.

Sad to say I do not have one as of yet – but any of Shakespeare’s are wonderful to play around with. I am really enjoying the world of SHEPARD though.

When you are not acting, what else do you do for fun?  Do you have any hobbies?

Of course – nothing out of the ordinary: spend time with my family, which I have lots of. Being amongst good friends, music and FOOD!

What do you normally do on the weekends for fun?

Sundays are usually spent at the theater. Other than that, I do what most people do: relax, rehearse, eat, go to music venues usually and get together with friends. Check in with me in my 40′s – maybe I will have a more “interesting” answer then.

What is your go to comfort food?

Indian food – love those veggie samosas!
