Last month was my daughter Olivia’s birthday. Her birthday usually falls out on or near the first day of school. The dilemma when it comes to party planning is who to invite – friend’s from her class from last year? Summer friends? New classmates?
This year she wanted her party at Sportime USA. We limited her to 10 kids including herself, sister Ruby, and 2 cousins which meant she only had 6 friends she could invite. Tough decision for a kid who would love to have everyone!!
Out of those 6 kids, 4 of them were her buddies from Summer Stage. She felt bad not being able to invite all of her camp friends.

She absolutely loves camp not only for the shows but for the friendships she makes with the other kids as well as the bonding with the counselors. As a parent I am so happy to see that the friendships don’t end when camp does.
At home we had a cake for family and some of our building friends – 2 of them being the Levy-Dabby brothers along with their mom Taffy.
Olivia was beside herself that they were there to celebrate her 9th birthday!
We are grateful for all of the friendships we have made (kids and grown-ups alike) ever since Olivia started with the program with Junior Rising Stars.as well as Summer Stage.
