Summer Stage Triple Threat Special Performance

The kids in the Triple Threat group at Summer Stage did a special modern dance performance at The Riverdale Y on Monday.

Here is Cynthia Galik-Riaz,  Community Events Manager at the Riverdale Y, to tell us about the event.

The Riverdale Y announced the launch of its smoke-free policy (both the inside and the grounds of the Y are now smoke-free zones) with an event celebrating the generations. Members of the Riverdale Y Senior Center joined with members of the Riverdale Y Summer Stage performing arts camp to share stories, through narrative and dance, about the many benefits of not smoking cigarettes. Co-Sponsored by the Bronx Smoke-Free Partnership and the American Lung Association, the event also honored Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz for his continued advocacy and legislative initiatives promoting the public health and well-being of Bronx residents.
